Teaching, Learning, and Technology Endowment

UMW is a leader in educational technology, both in the classroom and within the physical space of the Hurley Convergence Center. To preserve UMW’s edge in this digital world, the University needs to continually update and obtain the latest technological tools and hardware to teach new practices and uses, both in and out of the classroom. This new endowment builds on existing programs hosted in the Hurley Convergence Center, including Domain of One’s Own, and it enhances technology-enabled spaces like the Digital Auditorium and the Advanced Media Production Studio. The endowment also supports hardware and software upgrades, innovative pilot projects in pedagogy and research, and other new ways to enable the exploration and implementation of the convergence of teaching, technology, and innovation. All are important to enable UMW and the Hurley Convergence Center to continue to be on the cutting-edge of higher education in the “digital age.”

If you would like to support the Hurley Convergence Center and the growth of educational technology at UMW, please consider a donation to the Teaching, Learning, and Technology Endowment.
