Note: These instruction only apply to equipment with the “Kit” label. Other equipment cannot be renewed.
The initial loan period for HCC equipment kits is three days. Kits can be renewed, extending the loan period to a maximum of six days. No loan can be extended more than six days.
To renew your HCC equipment kits, you can:
- On the day the equipment is due, return to the HCC Info Desk during business hours and ask the staff to renew your equipment.
Or:
- On the day the equipment is due, log on to your UMW Libraries account at library.umw.edu.
- You will be brought to your dashboard. By selecting the “Loans” tab you can see all your loans and renew any eligible items.
- Click “Renew.”
Note: If you renew your equipment before the original due date, your loan will be extended three days from the current date. To reach the maximum of six days, make sure to renew your equipment on the third day of your loan period.
Only equipment with the “Kit” label can be renewed. Other equipment cannot be renewed.
